Bahram Samanfar
Dr. Bahram Samanfar holds the position of Research Scientist at AAFC, Ottawa-RDC, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Biology, Carleton University. He is a molecular geneticist and applied genomicist, specializing in the development of allele-specific molecular markers, recombination mapping, marker-assisted selection (molecular breeding), functional genomics, transcriptome-wide approaches (RNA-seq), computational biology, and bioinformatics. His expertise in these areas is particularly noteworthy in relation to the field of Soybean research.
