Born in Tokyo, 1973. 

Inherited his father-in-law’s tofu shop in 1999 and increased sales by 40 000% in 10 short years. In addition, he also established the Somenoya Group, which includes another long-established historic tofu company called Yamashita MITSU Co., Ltd. in Ishikawa Japan, Tofu Catalan in Barcelona and EDO Tofu in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
