Jay Ram Lamichhane 

Dr. Lamichhane is a research scientist at the national research institute for agriculture, food and the environment (INRAE), France. He earned an M.S. in agronomy and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at the Tuscia University, Viterbo, Italy. He works at the interface between Agronomy and Plant Pathology using experimental and modeling approaches. He is particularly interested in understanding and ranking of factors affecting field crop establishment under low-input cropping systems (cover cropping, double cropping, pesticide-free cropping etc.). Dr. Lamichhane serves as Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Crop Protection. He has authored or co-authored over 90 publications in peer-reviewed international journals with scientists worldwide.
