Ricardo Abdelnoor
Dr. Ricardo Vilela Abdelnoor is a Principal Investigator in Soybean Genetics and Genomics at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) over the past 30 years. He holds a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, and a PhD in Agronomy (Genetics and Breeding) from the University of Nebraska, USA. He participated in several research projects and coordinated the multi-institutional project GENOSOJA - National Consortium for Soybean Genome Studies" (CNPq). He is also an associated Professor in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Graduate Program at the State University of Londrina (UEL). He was the Chairman of the VI Brazilian Soybean Conference (CBSoja 2012) and since 2013 is the Chairman of the Continuing Committee for the World Soybean Research Conference. From 2013 to 2020, he was the Deputy Head of Research & Development of Embrapa Soja.
